Christmas dinner is all about gathering with family and friends. Here are 9 DIY Christmas table and centerpiece ideas for the holidays.

I know we are talking about Christmas right now, but I just found out I’m hosting Thanksgiving this year.

Yikes.

Just between us? My Thanksgiving track record isn’t that great.

Remember when I bought a 10-pound turkey for 20 people and handed out tablespoons of turkey meat to everyone?

I’m working out the menu and planning on a much bigger turkey, but my real plan? It’s to distract them with the most beautiful table ever.

So today I’m sharing all the Christmas table and centerpiece ideas.

And in amazing news?

You can use so many of these ideas for Thanksgiving, too.

9 DIY Christmas Table and Centerpiece Ideas

1. 12 Days of Christmas Placesetting

This is one of my favorite Christmas tables. I’m actually using this same theme again for this year, but I’m adding these ornaments to the table, too, and some other fun ideas.

I actually got my 12 days of Christmas plates at Walmart several years ago, but I checked and they are out of stock.

No worries.

I found a couple of other options for the plates like these and these and these (splurge).

You can see the rest of the table setting here.

2. A French horn holiday table

See what I mean? Those french horns and bells look a little like Thanksgiving to me.

Holiday table decor doesn’t have to take a lot of time or money.

Here are 3 easy things you can do to create a beautiful table to enjoy all season long.

5. Plaid Christmas Kitchen Table

Nothing says Christmas like plaid.

Especially in the kitchen. This table with its classic red and green Christmas colors and vintage touches adds up to the prettiest table.
