I hope you had an amazing Fourth.
Around here it was kind of next level.
We had the entire family over for hamburgers and hotdogs and relay races. We had the bandana race and the egg toss and the doughnut eating contest and the water balloon toss filled with giggles and laughter and family.
And then?
Whitney created these red white and blue drinks for us. We layered white lemonade, blue gatorade and cranberry juice. The layers stay in place because of the different sugar content.
And it was tasty.
The Fourth was definitely amazing–but you know what’s even more amazing? The Fifth of July.
Why?
I have the BEST products to share with you. I’ve purchased each and every one of them and told my closest friends and family all about them and how much I love them and how I wish I had bought them sooner.
Here are 11 products I wish I would have bought sooner here—the July edition.
11 Products I Wish I Would Have Bought Sooner

// pull-out cabinet drawers //
These pull-out cabinet drawers
When we were fixing everything for the Fourth of July party yesterday, Whitney reached down to get a mixing bowl from the cabinet and saw our new pull-out cabinet drawers.
She was so excited when she pulled it out, grabbed the bowl and rolled it back into place.
These drawers make finding everything so much easier and they are SO easy to install, too.
You can see the pull-out cabinet drawers here.

// self-tanner towelettes //
Self-tanner towelettes
This is the new part of my tanning routine.
These are so easy if you are going on vacation or don’t want to mess with a spray.
They come in a set of six and you just take out the towelette (that looks just like a face wipe) and wipe the self-tanner on.
The tan looks so realistic and easy to use. I use Medium for my shade.
You can see the self-tanner towelettes here.

// bendable branches //
These bendable branches
One of the best ways to bring a little summer into a room?
Greenery.
You can cut branches from the yard and put them in a glass vase or you can use these faux branches. They come in a set of three and are almost 4 feet long.
The stems bend and they drape so realistically.
You can see the branches here.

// nail protein //
Nail protein
I have trouble getting my nails to grow.
I stopped getting manicures and dip at the salon and started using this and it’s a game changer.
You paint it on like a top coat and it’s SO STRONG that it instantly strengthens your nails. My nails are the longest they have been in a while and they just look so squared away now.
You can see the nail protein here.

// the flying insect trap here //
Flying Insect Trap
I don’t know where all the flies in our house come from, but nothing makes me more frustrated than FLIES.
This is such an amazing solution.
You plug it in and it attracts the bugs with a blue light. You just toss the strip after a week or so and add a new one. I couldn’t even believe how many flies it catches and how well it works.
You can see the flying insect trap here.

//battery-powered lamp //
Battery powered lamp
I just shared this a couple of days ago, but it’s so worth a repeat and of course it had to make the top 10 list for this month.
When I ordered it and it came in, it was smaller than I thought it was going to be (but that ended up being a good thing). I actually love the size for where I wanted to put it. The charge holds amazingly well. I’ve had it on for over 8 hours and it was still going strong on one charge. I think the secret is to not let it get uncharged. Every couple of days or so I use a portable charger to charge it (so I don’t have a cord running around the desk). The charger sits on my desk and charges it until the light turns green. The light is surprisingly strong for such a small lamp.
It’s a warm light rather than a cool light so it’s perfect for a desk lamp.
This blue and white tiered skirt
Isn’t this skirt the cutest and perfect for summer?
The waist is stretchy and smocked and is so flattering with a white t-shirt and a blue jean jacket. I’m five feet tall and I had to roll the top over for the length, but it’s easy to adjust.

// this queen-size duvet cover //
This queen-size duvet set
I just ordered this for the Cape and it’s SO soft.
It’s under $15 for the white set with the shams (but it comes in tons of other colors, too) and it feels so high-end. If you are looking for a summer bed refresh? This set is such a good value for the price.
You can see the queen-size duvet set here.

// these faux flowers //
These faux flowers
I have these flowers on my porch with my Diplandenias and they look so real no one ever knows they aren’t.
They come in a set of two packs and when you fluff them out, the two sets fill out a planter like this.
I added dirt to the planter and stuck the flowers in the dirt. I think they look so real because the leaves are two different colors.
You can see the faux flowers here.

// automatic opening trashcan //
This automatic opening trashcan
This is the CUTEST trashcan and it opens automatically when you wave your hand.
There’s a little button at the end of the lid, you wave your hand over it and the top pops open automatically.
Then it closes itself and looks neat and tidy.
You can see the trashcan here.

// monogrammed doormat //
This monogrammed doormat
I added this doormat because so many of you asked about it when I shared about the cutest puppy on the planet, Scottie.
(total aside: Scottie came to the Fourth of July party yesterday and played all the games, too.)
It’s only $25 and you can personalize it with your name and initial.
You can see the doormat here.
I got some requests for a non coir doormat. You can see an alternative to this mat here.
Here’s a rubber mat that’s monogrammed, too. You can see the mat here.

I hope your Fourth of July was amazing.
I hope it was full of joy and sunshine.
And as amazing as July 4th was? I hope July 5th is EVEN BETTER.
