Looking for pillow combinations? Here are some of my favorite pillow combinations according to color and style.

Can I tell you how much fun I had writing this post?
Seriously.
Apparently, I LOVE to mix and match pillows and I didn’t even know it.
Every time I share this room, I get so many questions about the pillows on the sofas. There is a LOT of pattern going on in this room. I get it. I understand that it might be a little overwhelming. But for me and my living room? We never met a blue and white pillow that we didn’t like.
People asked where I got the pillows and how did I match the pillows and how did I know which pattern went with what.
Most of these pillows came from random places that don’t have them anymore, so I thought it might be fun if I went and found pillows and matched them up for you.
I started with one set. I was just going to put one set together for you to show you how to match patterns and scale. But there were so many cute pillows and so many cute patterns that I put together another.
And then another.
And another.
I hope you like pillows.
Because here are just a few.
Seven of My Favorite Pillow Combinations

Pillow set #1: a little blue and white
I’ve linked them here, but you can click on the pillows above to shop.
- this navy tassel pillow
- this polka dot pillow
- these mix and match pillow covers
Love the pattern on the darker blue mixed with the ikat pattern on the blue and white pillow layered in with the white polka dot pillow.
And the best part?
That set mixes with this set.

Pillow set #2: casual blue and white
This set is a little more casual.
It mixes damask with this greek key pillow and then layers in a little white polka-dotted tasseled pillow.
All of these pillows are SUPER affordable, too.
- these damask blue and white pillow covers
- this greek key pillow
- this white polka dot pillow

Pillow set #3: nautical blue and white
I love the look of this set.
I found the raffia pom pom pillow and was trying to match it and then the blue and white pillow just fell in love with it.
All three pillows have really pretty texture, too.
- this navy and white tasseled pillow
- this pom pom raffia pillow
- this navy tassel pillow

Pillow set #4: pink and white and spring
Look at this adorable multi-colored pillow I found.
I think this was one of my favorite combinations because each pillow has its own personality.
And they all look like summer.
- this pink and white pillow cover
- this multi-colored pillow
- these pink and white striped pillows

Pillow set #5: neutral with texture
One of my newest favorite pillows is sitting on my bed right now.
The pillow on the right is actually quite a bit darker than it appears in the picture and it’s SO PRETTY.
I love layering in texture with it.
These pillows all match with the pillows below, too.
- this striped pillow
- this mix and match set of pillows
- this damask pillow

Pillow set #6: casual neutral
This set is super similar to the set above—except I added in stripes.
I think it just makes the pattern combination pop.
You could also add in any of the pom pom or white pillows I matched with the other sets.
- this neutral tassel pillow
- these striped pillows
- this patterned khaki pillow

Pillow set #7: outdoor pillows
And it wouldn’t be a pillow post without a few outdoor pillows.
I have the pillows on the left on my porch right now and they’ve held up amazingly well this summer.
Black and white is a classic outdoor combination.
- this black and white patterned pillow
- this black and white striped pillow
- this pom pom outdoor pillow
