And you started September 1.

But just in case.

Just in case the leaves are falling and it’s a crisp cool fall day and you had a few minutes here are a few DIY pumpkin project ideas for a lazy fall afternoon.

And just because I’m feeling sassy and all fall decorated up?

I have a question for you.

11 DIY Pumpkin Project Ideas

1. DIY Twig pumpkin project

This project is all about shopping the backyard.

(total aside: I made this years ago and it’s held up all these years later)

All you really need to make this are some twigs, hot glue and some sort of tray or flat surface.

2. DIY mercury glass pumpkin

One of my all-time favorite pumpkin projects I’ve ever done.

Even if you aren’t about pumpkins—y0u can use the instructions to transform any ordinary glass into mercury glass.

You can purchase expensive fabric pumpkins.

4. DIY Silhouette Pumpkins

I love anything with a silhouette.

Especially a pumpkin.

I painted these pumpkins when my children were a lot littler and they are such a fun way to look back on those sweet faces.

5. wood slice pumpkins

I think this project is proof that there’s a pumpkin in everything.
