Looking for a super simple DIY spring wreath idea for your front door? Here’s a project that will take you from spring until summer.
A spring wreath adds a little freshness to your home. This one has eucalyptus branches, sprigs of dried flowers, and buds on the front. Add the wreath to your front door or hang it on a wall indoors.

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day. How is the weather where you are?
Here?
It’s Texas.
If you don’t like the weather? Just blink and it changes.
It was hailing yesterday and tomorrow it’s 80 and this weekend it’s supposed to be freezing.
The kind of weekend that makes you want to pull the covers up over your head and go back to bed.
Spring with its bright sunshine and floating clouds and chirping crickets and mornings that make you want to leap out of bed seems like an eternity away.
So I’m bringing a little spring along with some sunshine today.
It’s a DIY spring wreath that I made with stems of pink flowers and eucalyptus that will take you literally 15 minutes to put together.
Want to join me?
Oh, good.
I’m saving you a seat at the table.

DIY spring wreath made from eucalyptus and flowers
supplies (everything is linked for you if you don’t have all this in your craft room)
18″ grapevine wreath
eucalyptus stems
pink flower stems like these and these and these
wire branches
hot glue

Step 1: start with a grapevine wreath
You can find these in any craft store or your craft closet or at yard sales this spring.
For this craft, I used an 18″ wreath to start with.
They come in lighter and darker grapevine and I chose the darker brown.

Step 2: choose your florals
I chose eucalyptus and three different stems of pink flowers.
A smaller pink flower.
A medium pink flower like this one.
And a larger pink flower.

Step 3: chose branches
You can find these in the dried floral section of the craft store.
This is the secret ingredient that takes the wreath to the next level.
Make sure the branches are smaller and have forks in them.

Step 4: add the first layer of eucalyptus
Cut smaller pieces of eucalyptus and layer them on the wreath.
These pieces are between 4″ to 5″ long.
They are directly hot glued onto the wreath.
Start in a counter-clockwise direction and layer in the pieces of eucalyptus with hot glue until you have a base layer as shown.

Step 5: add the flowers
You don’t need a ton of flowers for this wreath.
Just use 2-3 stems of each one.
Cut smaller pieces of the floral stems and layer them on the wreath.
These pieces are between 4″ to 5″ long.
They are directly hot glued onto the wreath.

Step 6: add the branches
Lastly, add the branches to the wreath.
Cut smaller pieces of the branch and layer them on the wreath. You can see the ones I found here.
These pieces are between 6″-8″ long.
Hot glue the branches directly onto the wreath.

Here’s my little bit of spring that will take you from now until summer starts peeking through the clouds.
It makes me so happy that it seems like the fog is lifting.
May your day be full of sunshine and a little bit of spring.
PS This post was delayed a little bit today because I just started water aerobics this morning.
More on that later—but just between us—IT WAS AMAZING.
PPS Here’s another fun spring project here and here.
