Before I get started on this post, I wanted to answer the sweet emails and messages so many of you sent me about the flooding in Texas.

My. Heart. Is. Breaking.

Watching the flooding unfold across our state—seeing homes destroyed, families displaced, and entire communities flooded—my heart aches for everyone facing the aftermath of this tragedy. We know families affected by the flooding, and my own sweet Whitney was a counselor at a camp near Austin this week. Her camp sits up on a hill, so the flooding couldn’t reach the cabins.

It’s so important to remember that life can change in an instant, and I’m praying for comfort for those who have lost so much, for strength for those working tirelessly on the ground, and for hope for the days ahead.

Have you ever shopped on Amazon Prime Day before?

It can get a little overwhelming.

That’s why I’m here. Today I’m sharing things that I know the price is amazing on. Things I’ve used. Things I’ve loved.

But also?

Things I would never pay full price for.

These 15 things are just the start. The way that Amazon Prime Day works is that there are daily deals and then? There are lightning deals that only last until the item sells out. Sometimes it takes an hour to sell out. Sometimes it takes minutes.

I’m going to be posting lightning deals on my Facebook page and my Instagram stories over the next couple of days and I’m going to be continuously updating the list as well.

Best Amazon Prime Day Shopping Tips

If you are a professional Prime Day shopper? Just skip over this section because you could probably teach me a thing or two. The deals are listed by category below.

If you are like “Prime” what?

Here are my best tips for maximizing your budget over the next couple of days:

1. There are a LOT of deals over on Prime Day. It’s so easy to get overwhelmed when you go over to the site. My best advice? Make a list of all the things you are looking for—for Christmas, for birthdays, for yourself, for your home and then search these categories or leave a comment letting me know what you are looking for. I’m here to help in any way that I can.
2. You have to be a member of Amazon Prime to access the deals. But in amazing news? If you aren’t a Prime Member? Here’s an easy hack. Amazon offers a FREE 30-day trial. You can sign up for the sale and check it out to see if it’s something you are interested in.
3. Check out the Amazon Prime FREE trial here.
4. I’ve posted deals I’ve found by categories below. But please be aware that there are TONS more deals than this available. Prime deals crop up on Tuesday and Wednesday with “Daily Deals” and every hour with “Lightning Deals” I’m going to be monitoring them and updating the folders on Amazon all the time, so you may want to follow along on my Facebook page and my Instagram stories over the next couple of days.
5. Just like Black Friday and Cyber Monday, shop ahead. I made my lists for my family so I know what to shop for. It’s a great resource for birthdays and holidays (specifically GREAT PRICES on televisions and electronics).
6. If you miss a deal that’s posted— then click the “waitlist” button in case someone cancels or has it in their cart and doesn’t make a purchase. If a deal opens up or it goes on sale again over Prime Day, you’ll get a notification. Also—please note that all the prices I’m posting were accurate at the time I posted them; however, prices can change quickly.
7. If you aren’t in a rush with shipping, you can click no-rush shipping and Amazon will give you credits to your Amazon account. It’s a great way to get additional savings (especially if you are ordering them for Christmas or a holiday that’s in the future).

For example, I ordered this queen mattress and I extended my shipping and got $1 credit back to my account. I wasn’t in a hurry, so the timeframe didn’t matter to me. Little extra discounts like that add up on a shopping day like this.

This is actually not my solution.

I’ve been dealing with crepy skin on my arms and I reached out to a friend of mine who is a big YouTuber and a dermatologist.

And she recommended this AmLactin Intensive Healing Body Lotion.
